Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's Daughter Gracie Comes out as Queer

The enduring union of country music legends Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, who exchanged vows in 1996, has brought forth three remarkable daughters, each forging her own path. Their eldest, Gracie, arrived in May 1997, followed by Maggie in August 1998, and their youngest, Audrey, in December 2001. It’s clear that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as all three McGraw girls have inherited a significant amount of their parents’ artistic flair, with two actively pursuing careers in the entertainment industry.

Gracie, based in the vibrant heart of New York City, harbors aspirations of gracing the Broadway stage. Her talent has already landed her a role in an off-Broadway production and an impressive performance at the iconic Carnegie Hall. Meanwhile, Audrey, the youngest, recently made headlines with the announcement that she will be opening for Brandi Carlile and has released her debut single, a captivating rendition of Neil Diamond’s “I Am…I Said.” Maggie, also a gifted vocalist who was part of a high school band, has chosen a different direction, pursuing a career in Washington D.C.

June, a month globally recognized as Pride Month, is a time for celebrating and acknowledging the LGBTQIA+ community. During this significant period, Gracie McGraw utilized her Instagram platform to express her enthusiasm. She shared a post that enthusiastically encouraged everyone to “Get More Gay Now!!!!!” and added her own heartfelt sentiment: “Happy freaking pride I love being queer.”

This public declaration quickly led to numerous media reports suggesting that Gracie had “come out” as queer, with the stories rapidly gaining traction online. Gracie swiftly addressed these articles, returning to her Instagram stories to clarify the situation.

In her statement, Gracie wrote, “Hello all! It has come to my attention that some tabloids have taken an Instagram story I posted yesterday have have used it as click bait saying I’ve ‘come out’. Let me be VERY clear here….I’ve been an out and proud queer, bisexual woman and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have and will always be very vocal about my support of LGBTQIA+ rights and the community, but thank you so much to these tabloids for shedding light that it’s pride month!!!”

She continued, emphasizing the importance of support for the LGBTQIA+ community: “So many people out there don’t have the support, love, or understanding from their families when it comes to their sexuality or gender identity, but just know that there is a beautiful community out there that loves you and cares about and for you!!!”

Throughout their daughters’ lives, Tim and Faith have consistently shown unwavering support. Most recently, Tim shared a touching birthday tribute to Gracie as she celebrated her 28th birthday. He wrote, “Can’t believe this little bit turns 28 today! Happy birthday to our Gracie! You are a light in this world my sweet girl. So much heart, soul, respect and yes LOADS of talent!!! We hope you have the best day ever and know that you are loved beyond measure! I love you my little girl.” Their continued support is a testament to the strong family bonds that underpin the McGraw household.
