Introduction
In a move to prioritize her well-being, country artist Ella Langley has announced a temporary halt to her current tour schedule. Citing a recent battle with sickness and profound exhaustion, the rising star shared a candid message with fans, explaining her difficult decision to step away from the stage for a period of rest and recovery. This health-focused break will result in the cancellation of several upcoming performances, as detailed in her social media post.
In her heartfelt statement, Langley conveyed her sadness over the situation:
“I am so heartbroken to have to post this. The last few weeks have been so hard. I’ve been battling an illness and feeling more exhausted than I ever have.”
She went on to explain her rationale for the hiatus:
“After a lot of contemplation, I’ve made the tough choice to take a couple of weeks off to rest and concentrate on my health—my mind, body, and soul. I want to be completely present for all the moments that are still to come, and I know I can’t do that if I don’t first take care of myself.”
The singer emphasized the importance of listening to one’s own body:
“Sometimes, we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down. I am so thankful for your understanding and support—it truly means the world to me.”
Langley concluded her message with a biblical verse and a list of the affected shows, promising her return in September:
“‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.’ • Matthew 11:28”
The following shows are unfortunately impacted: August 15 & 16 – Cleveland, OH August 19 – Nashville, TN (Listening Room) August 21 – Bonner-West Riverside, MT August 22 – Idaho Falls, ID August 23 – Nampa, ID August 25 – Morrison, CO
“I’ll be back on the road in September, ready to give you my all,” she concluded.
This news comes amid a successful year for Langley, who has been on the road with her “still hungover” tour, supporting her debut album hungover. The tour was recently extended with two highly anticipated nights at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium this November. This year has also seen the release of new music, including her recent collaboration with BigXThaPlug.
At present, there is no official word on whether the postponed dates will be rescheduled. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
