For almost six decades, a piece of music history remained hidden away inside the Beaulieu family home. On May 1, 1967, Elvis and Priscilla Presley married in a covert, highly private Las Vegas ceremony attended by just 14 guests. Following the eight-minute ceremony, a special gift was presented to Priscilla’s parents, Joseph and Ann Beaulieu: a personalized wedding album containing 30 original black-and-white photographs, stamped in gold with their names and a gift message from Colonel Tom Parker.
Now, for the very first time in 59 years, this historic artifact is being offered to the public. Danish auction house Bruun Rasmussen has placed the rare album—believed to be one of only ten copies ever created—up for auction on September 21, 2026.
The sale is particularly poignant given the complex history between Elvis and his in-laws. Early in the relationship, when Priscilla was still a teenager in Germany, her parents were deeply concerned about the ten-year age gap and the extraordinary fame of the superstar. Yet, Elvis won them over through persistent phone calls and emotional letters written during his military service. The wedding album served as a bridge between the rock-and-roll icon and the ordinary family navigating his world.
Beyond the wedding photos, the collection includes three rare, private color photographs taken at Graceland in the summer of 1968. Capturing Elvis, Priscilla, and their infant daughter, Lisa Marie, these snapshot images reveal a strikingly intimate side of the King of Rock and Roll. One photo even features a playful, handwritten note on the back: “Elvis going fast to scare mother.”
Together, the items offer a powerful contrast. While the 1967 wedding album preserves Elvis at a defining public moment, the 1968 Graceland snapshots portray him simply as a hesitant new father and husband enjoying quiet family life away from the spotlight.
Estimated at 100,000 Danish kroner (approximately $14,600 USD), the complete lot represents a rare glimpse into a carefully guarded personal sanctuary. As online bidding opens, the sale marks the end of an era for the Beaulieu family, allowing fans and collectors a chance to own a truly unprecedented piece of Elvis Presley’s personal legacy.
