Ella Langley Delivers Flirty Pickup Line To Riley Green In Cinematic Western-Inspired Music Video

By Kelly Fisher – August 29, 2024

Ella Langley has turned up the heat in her latest release, stepping onto the dance floor of an old Western saloon to deliver a cheeky pickup line to fellow country artist Riley Green. The moment anchors the cinematic music video for their duet “You Look Like You Love Me,” which premiered Wednesday (August 28).

Directed by Wales Toney and John Park, the video feels like a movie come to life, filmed on location in Cave City, Kentucky. Langley, 25, plays a glamorous saloon singer clad in an old-fashioned gown, while Green, 35, takes on the role of a rugged outlaw. Their chemistry unfolds under the saloon lights, before country legend Jamey Johnson appears to confront Green in a dramatic closing twist.

Langley offered fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the shoot on social media, revealing the energy and detail that went into creating the vintage Western world.

The single is featured on Langley’s long-awaited debut album, Hungover, released last month. The 14-track project, five years in the making, includes standout cuts such as the title track, “Better Be Tough,” “Cowboy Friends,” and acoustic versions of “Cowgirl Don’t Cry” and “Broken In.”

“I put my heart and soul into this project,” Langley said upon the album’s release. “I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.”

With a blend of sharp storytelling and cinematic flair, Langley’s latest video solidifies her growing reputation as one of country music’s most promising new voices.
