Introduction
This morning, while sitting in the quiet room getting ready for Sunday, I felt compelled to write a few lines to share instead of keeping them to myself. For many years I have believed that life moves in different “seasons,” and each season brings a sacred reminder that we can’t do everything at once, but we can take steady, faithful steps when we learn to listen and follow His guidance.
Lately my heart has opened to a new chapter — a different phase of life. In that transition I’ve felt the presence of the Savior more clearly than ever. He doesn’t just help us carry our sorrows; He also shows us how to find joy in ordinary moments. That sense of comfort became even more real when I heard that a dear brother, a devoted artist, had passed away at the age of seventy-three. He may not have been the flashiest star on stage, but he was an indispensable light within the group. To me he was more than a musical colleague; he was a spiritual companion who always listened and offered counsel with genuine warmth.
The conversations, the laughter, the times we sang together — those memories are now precious treasures etched in my heart. I know we all must face separation at some point, but his passing reminded me again that the greatest thing is not what we achieve, but the love we give and receive.
Today I want to remind myself and anyone reading these words: listen to the voice within your soul, and cherish the loved ones around you. A single visit, a conversation, or a heartfelt hug may become the memory you carry for the rest of your life.
I believe that through every loss, He continues to lead us, and His love never leaves us.
