Ella Langley Returns After Taking Time Off for Her Health
Ella Langley is officially back in the spotlight.
The 26-year-old country singer shared a health update with fans on Thursday, Sept. 4, after stepping away from touring earlier this month to focus on her recovery. Posting a carousel of photos and videos to Instagram, Langley gave a glimpse into how she’s been spending her much-needed downtime.
“Couldn’t be any more grateful to have had some time to slow down and see all of the amazing things happening in my life,” she wrote. “Also, I have the best family and friends a girl could ask for. Truly. Thank y’all for allowing me this time too, and all of the messages that were sent in love and support. Time to get back to it 🤍.”
The 19-slide post featured Langley enjoying simple, restorative activities — horseback riding, cooking, reading her Bible, relaxing by the water, cuddling with pets, and gathering around a bonfire. She also revealed via Instagram Story that she was “getting hair-ready” ahead of her next performance, scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 7.
A Difficult But Necessary Break
Langley’s positive update comes after she announced on Aug. 11 that she would be stepping back from performing to prioritize her health. At the time, she admitted she had been battling illness and exhaustion, leading her to cancel several August appearances, including dates on her headlining Still Hungover Tour as well as supporting slots on Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour and Riley Green’s Damn Country Music Tour.
“I’m so sad to be posting this. The past several weeks have been tough,” she told fans. “After a lot of thought, I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health — mind, body, and heart. I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself.”
Back on the Road This Fall
With her short break behind her, Langley’s tour calendar is packed once again. She’ll rejoin Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour Sept. 12–13 in Edmonton, Canada, before continuing her own headlining run throughout Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas this fall.
