Introduction
“Welcome to My World” is a compilation album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley, released by RCA Records on March 17, 1977, just five months before his death. The album earned gold certification from the RIAA on September 30, 1977, and achieved platinum status on January 14, 1983.
As a result of Elvis Presley’s limited studio recording sessions during this period, RCA Records compiled the album using previously released tracks, with one exception. “Your Cheatin’ Heart” was the oldest track, recorded in 1958, nearly two decades earlier. The only previously unreleased track, “I Can’t Stop Loving You,” was recorded during the afternoon performance at Madison Square Garden on June 10, 1972. The remaining part of the concert remained unreleased until 1997 when RCA issued the complete performance as “An Afternoon in the Garden.”

Lyrics
Welcome to my world,
Won’t you come on in
Miracles, I guess
Still happen now and then
Step into my heart
Leave your cares behind
Welcome to my world
Built with you in mindKnock and the door shall be open
Seek and you will find
Ask and you’ll be given
The key to this heart of mineI’ll be waiting there
With my arms unfurled
Waiting just for you
Welcome to my world
Welcome to my world
