Rory Feek on Being 'Canceled,' Says Daughters Won't Meet Him Alone

Columbia, TN – The Mulehouse in downtown Columbia played host to a heartwarming and memorable evening recently, all in support of a truly special endeavor: The Miracle League. Owned by Blair Garner, who eloquently spoke of the venue’s dream-fueled creation and the supportive community, The Mulehouse opened its doors for a night dedicated to benefiting this incredible organization.

The Miracle League, spearheaded by founder Robin and board president (whose name we didn’t catch, but whose passion was evident!), is working to build an all-inclusive baseball field and playground for children and adults with special needs. The vision is to create a space where abilities are celebrated, and everyone has the chance to experience the joy of play.

The evening was made even more special by the generous contributions of talented artists. Natalie Stovall and Runaway June lent their musical talents, setting the stage for a truly touching moment. The highlight of the night came when Rory Feek took the stage.

Rory shared the heartwarming story of how he and the late Joey Feek had a connection to the sound engineer from years ago, a beautiful full-circle moment. He then introduced a very special guest: his daughter, Indiana.

Indiana’s radiant presence and sweet spirit filled the room. Blair Garner aptly described her as someone who “always looks for the good.” Indiana, who will be a part of the Miracle League, joined her father on stage for a beautiful rendition of “What If.”

Adding to the charm, Indiana invited her friends, Tay and Porter, baseball players themselves, to join them on stage. The pure joy and connection between Rory, Indiana, and her friends were palpable, underscoring the very essence of what the Miracle League aims to achieve.

The performance was a touching reminder of the power of music and community coming together for a meaningful cause. Rory’s heartfelt performance with Indiana not only entertained but also beautifully illustrated the importance of creating inclusive spaces where every child feels like they belong.

The evening at The Mulehouse was a resounding success, raising crucial funds for The Miracle League and leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. It was a testament to the kindness and generosity of the artists, the venue, and the Columbia community.
