PRISCILLA PRESLEY FACES EXPLOSIVE NEW LAWSUIT: ACCUSED OF BETRAYAL, FRAUD, AND MORE
The Presley legacy is once again under a storm of controversy. What began as a lawsuit over broken business promises has spiraled into shocking allegations against Priscilla Presley herself. Two former business partners now claim that Elvis’s widow not only betrayed them financially but also played a darker role in the downfall of her family.
In the updated complaint filed in Los Angeles County, Priscilla is described as a “calculated sociopath” and “master manipulator” whose hunger for money and power has left scars on everyone around her. According to the plaintiffs, she schemed her way through her divorce from Elvis, pressured him with financial demands that added to his stress before his untimely death in 1977, and later turned against her own daughter, Lisa Marie Presley.
The lawsuit alleges that in January 2023, just days before Lisa Marie’s passing, Priscilla ignored her daughter’s declining health while focusing on appearances at the Golden Globes. The filing claims that within hours of Lisa Marie being hospitalized, Priscilla authorized the removal of life support—despite directives to the contrary—before Lisa’s daughter, Riley Keough, could even arrive. The plaintiffs argue that Priscilla’s actions were part of a desperate attempt to regain control of Lisa’s estate.
At the center of this legal firestorm are Bridget Cruz and Kevin Fialo, entrepreneurs who say they dedicated years to managing Priscilla’s brand and protecting her image. They claim that instead of honoring agreements, Priscilla misled them, hid critical information about her legal right to use the Presley name, and struck secret deals behind their backs. Their lawsuit seeks more than $50 million in damages.
Perhaps most stunning is the accusation that Priscilla never had the right to continue using the Presley surname after her divorce. Court documents from the 1970s, attached as exhibits, show that she waived all inheritance and marital rights. Yet, according to the complaint, she kept the name Presley for financial gain, leveraging Elvis’s legacy to build her own fortune.
Priscilla’s attorney has dismissed these allegations as outrageous, likening them to wild conspiracy theories. Still, with over 40 exhibits filed and promises of witness testimony, this lawsuit threatens to pull back the curtain on one of the most closely guarded legacies in American pop culture.
For Elvis fans, the question now lingers: is Priscilla Presley a protector of the Presley name—or its greatest exploiter?
