The 65-year-old singer revealed that she had stepped away from social media for the past nine months to spend time with her family and reconnect with herself. She expressed gratitude for having listened to a strong inner prompting to take a long drive and visit her brother shortly before his passing. “I will forever cherish those precious hours with him,” she wrote. “I had no idea that only days later, he would suffer a massive stroke.”

Marie described the deep sorrow of losing someone so dear to her, calling Wayne “one of the most loving men I have ever known.” She fondly recalled the joyful times they shared, the laughter, and their deep, meaningful conversations that always left her uplifted.

She also highlighted Wayne’s deep devotion to his family — his beloved wife Kathy, their children, and grandchildren. In addition, she admired his unwavering faith in God, which had always been a guiding light in his life.

Wayne Osmond passed away at the age of 73 after suffering a stroke. His brothers Donny, Merrill, and Jay confirmed the sad news on social media on January 2nd. “My dear brother Wayne passed away peacefully last night from a stroke,” Donny wrote. “I am so grateful I was able to visit him in the hospital before he passed.”
