It seems Gwen Stefani is bringing more than pop-star glamour to her blended family with husband Blake Shelton ā sheās also bringing authentic Italian cooking to the heart of Oklahoma. Despite splitting her time between the West Coast and life on Sheltonās ranch, Stefani has fully embraced her Italian-American roots in the kitchen, and Shelton couldnāt be happier.
Speaking on the Country Heat Weekly podcast, Shelton revealed that Gwen is the primary cook at home ā and her Italian dishes have quickly become his favorites.
āMan, sheās really good at anything Italian,ā he said, adding that his top choice is her homemade lasagna. āIt takes her all day to make. I could eat that for the rest of my life.ā
Shelton didnāt stop there. He also praised her homemade pizzas ā dough and all ā cooked in their outdoor pizza oven.
āShe really does this stuff for real,ā he added proudly.
Shelton and Stefani first met as judges on The Voice in 2014. Both were navigating very public divorces at the time ā Stefani from Gavin Rossdale and Shelton from Miranda Lambert ā and their friendship eventually evolved into romance. They married in 2021, and Shelton has since taken on a stepfather role to Stefaniās sons: Kingston (18), Zuma (16), and Apollo (11).
Stefani has spoken just as lovingly about Shelton. During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, she was asked what reminds her why she fell in love with him.
She didnāt hesitate.
