Ella Langley Returns to the Stage Recharged After Health Break

Country singer Ella Langley is back on the road and feeling revitalized after pausing her tour in August to focus on her health.

The “You Look Like You Love Me” artist told fans via Instagram last month that she was “fighting sickness” and needed time to rest. At a recent concert in Madison, Illinois, Langley appeared renewed in “spirit and soul,” sharing heartfelt reflections before performing her song “Girl You’re Taking Home.”

“I’ve never let myself try for the plan B, because I was never going to accept that. It was going to be this or nothing else,” Langley said, explaining that she dropped out of school to pursue music. “I believed in myself and I believed in doing the thing that I was supposed to do… I know I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.”

The 26-year-old, who enjoyed a breakout night at the ACM Awards in May, also took time to appreciate her own growth: “Every day that I wake up, I know I’m doing the thing that I’m supposed to be doing, and I’m so grateful for that… One of my biggest takeaways from [the break] was, I’m so grateful for [the past version of myself].”

Langley’s brief hiatus came amid a whirlwind year marked by rising stardom and ongoing speculation—denied by both parties—about a possible relationship with duet partner Riley Green.

With her health restored and perspective sharpened, Langley now seems poised for the next chapter of her fast-moving career.
