Ella Langley Announces She's Taking Time Off Morgan Wallen and Riley Green Tours to Recover from 'Sickness': 'I'm So Sad'

Ella Langley Cancels August Tour Dates to Prioritize Her Health

Ella Langley is hitting pause to focus on her well-being.

On Monday, Aug. 11, the “Weren’t for the Wind” singer announced via Instagram that she would be stepping away from touring with Morgan Wallen and Riley Green for several weeks as she recovers from illness.

“I’m so sad to be posting this. The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever,” the 26-year-old wrote.

Langley explained that after much consideration, she made the difficult choice to cancel seven August shows in order to rest.

“After a lot of thought, I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health — mind, body, and heart. I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself.”

She reminded fans of the importance of self-care:
“Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down. I’m so grateful for your understanding and your love — it truly means the world to me.”

Langley promised she’ll be “back on the road in September ready to give you my all.”

A Busy Year So Far

The update comes just days after Langley released her new collaboration “Hell at Night” with BigXthaPlug on Aug. 8, which the pair celebrated with a behind-the-scenes Instagram video (complete with flowers from the rapper).

Earlier this month, on Aug. 2, Langley also marked the one-year anniversary of her sophomore album Hungover, thanking fans for the project’s success:
“One whole year of Hungover. This record has changed my life. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this record to life & to everyone who has listened since. Here’s to the next.”

The album included her award-winning duet “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green. The track earned them Musical Event of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards and sparked waves of fan stories.

“When we wrote the song, we were laughing thinking this might cause some marriages, maybe some divorces, and definitely some children. I like it,” Langley joked at the time.

For now, the rising country star is taking a well-deserved break — ensuring she can return to the stage healthier, stronger, and ready to give fans the full Ella Langley experience.
