Tyler Reese Tritt Steps Into the Spotlight With Debut EP Wild at Heart

Rising country singer Tyler Reese Tritt has officially arrived with the release of her long-awaited debut EP, Wild at Heart, now available on all streaming platforms. The five-song project showcases a bold mix of confidence, vulnerability, and raw Southern fire, establishing Tritt as far more than country royalty’s daughter — she’s an artist with her own distinct voice.

Produced primarily by Matt McClure, the EP marks a major milestone in Tritt’s musical journey. The exception is the emotional standout track “You Lost Me,” which highlights Tritt’s vocal control and storytelling finesse.

Fans first met Tritt at just 14 when she joined her father, country legend Travis Tritt, for a powerful duet of “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough.” Since then, she has steadily built her career with releases like “Porch Light” and “Texas Hold Him,” while earning opening slots for artists including Sheryl Crow and Runaway June.

The project’s spotlight track, “Smoke,” written by Nicole Witt, Lee Brice, and Joe Leathers, delivers a smoky, slow-burn heartbreak anthem layered with haunting production and soaring vocals.

“‘Smoke’ is one of those songs that lingers with you,” Tritt says. “It captures the moment when love fades into something you can’t hold anymore — like trying to grab smoke with your hands.”

Other tracks — including the fan-favorite ballad “Wasted Drinking,” the dark Southern story “Blood Money,” and the nostalgia-soaked “Another High” — round out the EP with emotional depth and sonic diversity.

With Wild at Heart, Tyler Reese Tritt isn’t just stepping into the country music conversation — she’s demanding a seat at the table. And based on this debut, she’s here to stay.
