Introduction:

After 19 Years of Marriage, Keith Urban Finally Admits What We All Suspected About Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Divorce After 19 Years of Marriage

After nearly two decades together, Hollywood power couple Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have officially called it quits. According to court documents filed in Nashville on September 30, 2025, Kidman initiated the divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Sources close to the pair say the actress is “heartbroken,” while Urban is focusing on his music and upcoming projects.

A Love Story That Defined an Era

Kidman and Urban met in 2005 at the G’Day USA Gala in Los Angeles and married the following year in a romantic ceremony in Sydney. Despite early challenges—including Urban’s stint in rehab shortly after their wedding—the two weathered storms together and became parents to daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

For years, they appeared inseparable on red carpets and award shows, often expressing admiration for each other.

Signs of Trouble

Rumors of tension began surfacing earlier this year. While Kidman spent much of her time filming abroad, Urban was busy touring and recording. Reports in July suggested the two had been living apart in Nashville.

Still, fans were surprised when Kidman posted a loving anniversary message in June, writing, “Happy anniversary, baby @keithurban.”

A few months later, she filed for divorce.

The End of a Chapter

Neither Kidman (58) nor Urban (57) has issued an official statement. Despite the split, insiders say the two remain respectful toward one another and committed to co-parenting their daughters.

As one friend put it: “Their love didn’t disappear—it just changed shape.”
