Introduction:
Blake Shelton & Janet Jackson to Headline United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Centennial Celebration
Country superstar Blake Shelton and pop/R&B legend Janet Jackson are set to share the stage in an unexpected but thrilling one-night performance for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Centennial Celebration on November 15, 2025, at the Cotton Bowl Stadium.
A Surprisingâbut RealâPairing
Fans were initially skeptical when the United Way announced the lineup on September 3, wondering if the cross-genre collaboration was real. But the organization confirmed the mega-event, noting that the concert will cap a year of celebrations marking 100 years of community impact in North Texas.
âDallas is just a few hours from where I grew up and my ranch in Oklahoma, so it almost feels like a hometown show,â Shelton said in a statement to local outlet WFAA. He also performed at the nonprofitâs 90th-anniversary concert back in 2015.
Tickets and Special Packages
Most seats will be purchased by corporate sponsors, who can spend up to $1 million for naming-rights activities and VIP access. Limited public tickets and group âparty packsâ (starting at $1,750 for six seats) include entry to the daytime food-and-wine festival. Fans can sign up for email updates on the Centennial Celebration info page.
What to Expect on Stage
The evening promises a genre-blending spectacle. Shelton is known for country hits like Godâs Country and Austin, while Jacksonâs catalog spans iconic pop/R&B anthems such as Rhythm Nation and Together Again. Organizers hint at surprise duets and mash-ups that fuse Jacksonâs intricate choreography and high-energy visuals with Sheltonâs relaxed, storytelling style.
Jackson called music a âuniversal language,â saying sheâs excited to share the stage with Shelton for âa night our fans will never forget.â Shelton added that he canât wait to âbring our different worlds together and make incredible memories.â
A Night for a Cause
Proceeds benefit United Wayâs ongoing work in health, education, and financial stability, which reached more than 1.7 million North Texans last year. With two powerhouse performers and a milestone mission, the Centennial Celebration is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about concerts of 2025.
