Blake Shelton & Janet Jackson to Headline United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Centennial Celebration

Country superstar Blake Shelton and pop/R&B legend Janet Jackson are set to share the stage in an unexpected but thrilling one-night performance for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Centennial Celebration on November 15, 2025, at the Cotton Bowl Stadium.

A Surprising—but Real—Pairing

Fans were initially skeptical when the United Way announced the lineup on September 3, wondering if the cross-genre collaboration was real. But the organization confirmed the mega-event, noting that the concert will cap a year of celebrations marking 100 years of community impact in North Texas.

“Dallas is just a few hours from where I grew up and my ranch in Oklahoma, so it almost feels like a hometown show,” Shelton said in a statement to local outlet WFAA. He also performed at the nonprofit’s 90th-anniversary concert back in 2015.

Tickets and Special Packages

Most seats will be purchased by corporate sponsors, who can spend up to $1 million for naming-rights activities and VIP access. Limited public tickets and group “party packs” (starting at $1,750 for six seats) include entry to the daytime food-and-wine festival. Fans can sign up for email updates on the Centennial Celebration info page.

What to Expect on Stage

The evening promises a genre-blending spectacle. Shelton is known for country hits like God’s Country and Austin, while Jackson’s catalog spans iconic pop/R&B anthems such as Rhythm Nation and Together Again. Organizers hint at surprise duets and mash-ups that fuse Jackson’s intricate choreography and high-energy visuals with Shelton’s relaxed, storytelling style.

Jackson called music a “universal language,” saying she’s excited to share the stage with Shelton for “a night our fans will never forget.” Shelton added that he can’t wait to “bring our different worlds together and make incredible memories.”

A Night for a Cause

Proceeds benefit United Way’s ongoing work in health, education, and financial stability, which reached more than 1.7 million North Texans last year. With two powerhouse performers and a milestone mission, the Centennial Celebration is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about concerts of 2025.
