Ella Langley Returns After Health Break, Shares Plans for New Music
Country music’s fast-rising star Ella Langley is back after a month-long hiatus to focus on her health.
The “You Look Like You Love Me” singer, who skyrocketed to fame last year through her viral duet with Riley Green and high-profile tours with Green and Morgan Wallen, shocked fans in August when she canceled shows, citing the need to care for her “mind, body, and heart.”
On Sept. 4, Langley broke her social-media silence, posting a series of photos and writing:
“Couldn’t be any more grateful to have had some time to slow down and see all of the amazing things happening in my life… I have the best family and friends a girl could ask for. Truly. Thank y’all for allowing me this time too and all of the messages that were sent in love and support.”
Langley will return to the stage Sept. 7 at the World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois, marking her first performance since announcing her break on Aug. 11.
The five-time ACM Award winner also revealed she’s in no hurry to release a follow-up to her Gold-certified debut album Hungover. Speaking in a July interview, Langley said her sophomore record is planned for 2026, explaining, “I really feel like people move on from their records so fast… I want to take my time.”
