Ella Langley Checks In With Fans After Taking Time Off To Focus On Her Health - Country Now

Ella Langley Returns to Fans After Time Away: “I’m Ready to Get Back to It”

Ella Langley has made her return to social media after stepping back from the stage to focus on her health. The rising country star reconnected with fans this week, sharing her first update since pausing her August tour dates.

In her heartfelt message, Langley expressed gratitude to those closest to her for standing by her during a season of rest.

“Couldn’t be more thankful for the time to breathe, reflect, and enjoy the little things in life,” she wrote. “I have the most incredible friends and family, and I can’t thank y’all enough for the love and support. Every message and prayer has meant the world. I feel recharged and ready to get back at it.”

Accompanying her post were snapshots and clips from her time off the road — horseback riding through wide-open fields, quiet moments reading Scripture, cooking at home, and cozying up with her beloved dogs.

The update comes nearly a month after Langley candidly revealed to fans that she needed to step away from performing due to exhaustion and illness.

“I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever,” she wrote on August 11. “After praying and thinking it through, I knew I had to take a couple of weeks to rest and put my health first — mind, body, and soul. I want to show up for every single moment ahead, but I can’t do that without slowing down.”

Though it was a difficult decision to cancel the remaining August shows, Langley leaned on her faith and community during that time. She closed her August message with words from Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Now refreshed and looking forward, the Alabama native is preparing to step back into the spotlight. Langley will resume touring on September 7 in Madison, Illinois, before rejoining Morgan Wallen for back-to-back shows in Edmonton, Canada, on September 12. She’ll then return to her own headlining run this fall, which includes major stops in Houston, Athens, and two sold-out nights at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.
