Introduction
Fans of Ella Langley and Riley Green are known for their strong connection to the duo’s performances, especially their hit duet, “You Look Like You Love Me.” The chemistry between them on stage is so believable that it’s fueled online speculation about a possible real-life relationship.
Recently, Green took the stage at the LASSO music festival, but a different artist joined him for Langley’s parts: Dasha. This decision didn’t sit well with a lot of fans, and a video of the performance shared on TikTok quickly stirred up mixed reactions.
Ella Langley Steps Back from Tour
The reason for the lineup change is that Langley has been taking a temporary break from touring. In a recent Instagram post, she explained, “The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever.”
She shared that she made the difficult decision to “take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health—mind, body, and heart.” She also added a reminder to her fans, saying, “Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down.”
Fans Direct Frustration at Dasha
Despite Langley’s clear explanation, some fans still directed their frustration at the situation. While some blamed Riley Green for the switch-up, saying he “should never sing this with anyone other than Ella,” others went a step further, personally attacking Dasha.
Comments on the video criticized everything from her singing to her style, with one person saying, “Dasha needs a better stylist asap because what is this outfit?” and another suggesting she “looks like some random fan from the crowd they put on stage.”
Luckily, Dasha isn’t new to dealing with online negativity. The “Austin” singer recently responded to some hate comments on TikTok with humor and grace, proving she knows how to handle the pressure.
